Rosalyn developed a method called radioimmunoassay, allowing the measurement of tiny amounts of biological material in human blood. This led to numerous breakthroughs in medicine, including detection of type-1 diabetes, and other hormonal and endocrine diseases.

Happy Shavuot! 🌾🧀 Shavuot holds a dual significance, both agriculturally, marking the wheat harvest, and spiritually. Celebrated for these two reasons, it is considered one of the Three Pilgrimage Festivals. The day commemorates the revelation of the Five Books of the Torah to Moses and the Israelites by God at Mount Sinai, 49 days (7 weeks) after the Exodus from Egypt. Additionally, Shavuot honors the wheat harvesting in the Land of Israel and signifies the conclusion of the 49 days of the counting of the Omer.

We join Israeli leaders across the political spectrum in strongly condemning the shameful conduct of Minister Ben Gvir.
Israel has every right to stop anti-Israel extremists from breaching Israeli territorial waters and entering Gaza, where part of the territory remains under the control of the terrorist group Hamas. Multiple individuals involved in these flotillas have documented links to terrorist organizations.
However, there is no place for actions that undermine Israeli values, harm Israel’s diplomatic relations around the world, and generate global sympathy for anti-Israel extremists.

Major (res.) Itamar Sapir (27) was killed in an encounter with a Hezbollah terrorist in southern Lebanon. He left behind his wife Ro`i, their son Maayan Yiftach - named after Itamar`s fallen Maglan Unit comrade from October 7, 2023, - and a family shattered by loss.
"I called you after they told me you were dead, and I didn`t believe it," Ro`i said through tears. "Something in me died with you." May Itamar’s memory forever be a blessing. 🕯️
